Gert Frederick Heyns SC is a senior advocate with extensive experience in commercial litigation, insurance law and dispute resolution. He holds a B Juris and LLB from North-West University and has been in practice since joining the Bar in 2000. Before joining the Bar, he completed his articles at Ross & Jacobs Attorneys and later served as a Professional Assistant at Erasmus Ferreira Attorneys.
He has appeared in a number of significant matters before the Supreme Court of Appeal, including cases involving commercial disputes, insurance litigation and constitutional issues. His experience spans both advisory work and complex litigation across various specialised areas of law.
Gert serves as an Arbitrator, Acting Judge and panel member of a Disciplinary Committee. He is recognised for his analytical approach, strong litigation skills and practical legal insight, particularly in the field of indemnity insurance and commercial disputes.

Emily Kwenamore is an advocate with a multidisciplinary background combining legal, commercial and technical expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of South Africa.
Before joining the Bar, Emily gained valuable experience in various professional sectors, having worked as an IT Systems Analyst, Business Banker and Executive Assistant. Her diverse professional background provides her with a practical understanding of both commercial and legal environments.
Emily has worked on a number of significant matters involving unlawful arrest, property disputes and customary law. Her experience includes matters where state liability was successfully challenged, disputes concerning unlawfully registered title deeds and matters relating to the application of African Customary Law.
She currently serves as a Mediator, Arbitrator and panel member of the Refugee Appeals Authority of South Africa. Emily is known for her analytical approach, attention to detail and commitment to providing practical and effective legal solutions.
Aldo Landsberg

He holds an LLB from the University of the Free State and brings a valuable combination of legal and commercial experience to his practice. Before joining the Bar, he completed articles of clerkship at Weavind & Weavind Inc. and gained further experience at Deneys Zederberg Attorneys.
In addition to his legal background, Aldo also worked as a Financial Planner at IWCP, where he developed insight into financial structures, risk management and strategic decision-making. This broader commercial perspective enables him to advise clients with both legal precision and practical business understanding. He is committed to providing clear guidance, thorough preparation and effective representation across a range of matters.
